A Tritium Breeding Blanket Segment

The front side of a Tritium Breeding Blanket segment is the so-called First Wall. This element faces the 100 million °C hot plasma.

It therefore has to withstand the incoming heat and neutron flux

These segments are supported by the reactor vacuum vessel, and right after them are located the superconducting magnets.
